Venue hire excludes food and beverages. BYO is not permitted at functions.
You do not need to pay venue hire if you do not wish to have the venue exclusively.
Bands, DJs and dance floors are not permitted unless you have exclusive venue hire of the entire restaurant, as these may affect other diners.
Smoking is permitted only in the designated smoking section on the front open deck. Smoking inside the restaurant, bar area or on any undercover deck is prohibited.
If a guest smokes in a non-designated area, a fine of R500 per person will be added to your final bill.
When making speeches or announcements, please inform guests where the designated smoking area is.
A venue-hire deposit is required to secure your function.
The terms provided state that the deposit is due no later than one month before the function and is non-refundable within two weeks of the function date.
Once guest numbers have been confirmed, no refunds are issued.
For EFT payments, use your name or company name and function date as the reference, and send proof of payment (POP).
If the minimum spend is not reached, the remaining balance goes towards venue hire.
There are no refunds on minimum spend.
No balloons, confetti or lights.
Excessive décor is not permitted unless an entire area has been booked exclusively.
No cakeage.
No corkage.
Personal photographers are not permitted unless the booking or function is exclusive.
Slops, flip-flops and caps are allowed during lunch service only.
Dinner service is strictly smart casual.
Men must wear closed shoes and long pants for dinner service.
If you are more than 20 minutes late for your booking, you will forfeit your table and deposit.
For à la carte bookings of 1–14 people, a R200 per-person deposit is paid through Dineplan and deducted from the final bill when dining.
Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the booking time are refunded through Dineplan.
For bookings of 1–10 people, cancellation within 24 hours results in forfeiture of the deposit.
For corporate bookings and bookings larger than 14 people, cancellation within 48 hours results in forfeiture of the deposit.
No-shows will be charged the full set-menu price where a set menu has been requested.
No flash photography unless a floor of the restaurant has been booked exclusively.
Photography must be communicated in advance.
Photography must take place before service hours and be completed before guests are seated.
Do not stand in walkways for photographs, as staff may be carrying hot plates and glassware.
Children under 10 are permitted for lunch service; dinner is reserved for patrons over 10.
Guests under 18 may not enter the bar area after 4 pm, even when supervised by an adult.
Please notify the restaurant of any allergies or dietary requirements within 24 hours of your booking so the kitchen can be informed.
Exclusive spaces require a minimum charge, depending on the space selected. All minimum spends exclude service charge.
Entire restaurant: seated capacity of 120 guests.
The terrace and formal dining room cannot be hired individually.
Private Dining Room: seated capacity of 10 guests.
Cocktail bar: seated capacity of 35 or standing capacity of 50; hire includes the entire floor and private room.
The guest policies state that venue-hire fees and deposits are due no later than two weeks before the event.
Bridal showers, baby showers and bachelorette parties are not permitted.
All minimum spends exclude service charge.
Entire restaurant: R100 000 including VAT, payable upfront; drinks and 10% gratuity on the total bill are excluded and settled at the end of the booking.
Cocktail Lounge: R50 000 including VAT, payable upfront; drinks and 10% gratuity on the total bill are excluded and settled at the end of the booking.
Private Dining Room: minimum spend of R7 000 and an upfront deposit of R3 500.
Guns, knives and other weapons are strictly prohibited at 9th Avenue Marina. Please leave them at home or in your car.
Guests are expected to behave respectfully and with dignity.
Please be mindful of other guests and the restaurant environment.

Your supplied terms state a venue-hire deposit is due one month before the function, while the Guest Policies section states fees and deposits are due two weeks before the event. Both have been retained. Please confirm which deadline applies before publishing or accepting payment.
